Somehow i think i thought it through, i really need to think whatever that suits my best.there is so often i blame myself why i spent hundred of hours in my teenage past years in computer games without a meaning behind it. I dont find the sense of achievement at all in games. Games like creative games like sims are still alrite because they trigger your sense of creativity, BUT dota and CS is so not worth playing, u play all night long and at the end, what you get?

Some might say, computer gaming the way to socialize between guys ma.. and gossiping about celebrities is the topic between girls ma.. WRONG, i totally disagree,you get to see other ur frenz talking the same topic, but does that really mean you get to understand ur fren better than talking about more meaningful stuf? If u talk about tactics or wtv cheats in computer gaming, does tat help you?

or will i rather say, you talk about life principles experiences and your dreams that you wanna share, does that sound much more better to understand ur fren? ..

so anyways i need to realign my new 2009 year, gotta focus on utilizing time, FOCUS!!! need to speed up my aptitude, need to ABSORB fast. need to know non academic stufs more rather than studies, excellence in studies wont bring u anywhere in Msia, juz a cert..

Bought this book for 3o bucks, its more like a daily digest book for me because its not a continuous non fiction book, it comes like... lets say.. Globalisation in 21st century.. then how does it differ from the past... then another one will be R&D sectors... ya those kinds.30 bucks!Zoom is what my sister recommend to me, not bad book too! its about how the effects of rising oil price triggers many different innovations and why does toyota emerge as the top car producer and the R&D sector behind cars and all.. not bad at all! 15 bucks. haha in MPH.
The book i borrowed from my aunt. Google story, havent touch it actually, but its about how google started and now manage to be the most popular search engine and how they made it happen?

Waa 3 books for me to digest, and + examz on the way in 2 weeks time with my books hanging up in the skies~ *not studying la meaning! and when i get back to college, abundance of non academic projects piling up. well, sounds FUN!

yea i will say its from mom duh. My k550i has malfunctioned, lotz of inconvenience by it. So just now went around digital mall hoping to get the same concept of phone like k550i, which is cybershot and flashlight. But yea too bad cant get, and k550i is rarely on the market anymore. So i went around asking for Non 3g SE handphone with flashlights. Obviously i cant get any, and i said my budget is 500. Well but look what i've got. f350i. mine's black. Now tell me u havent seen this model cause its just 2 weeks release. haha
I can certainly say Sony has changed a little of its concept. I didnt notice the speciality of this phone until i get back and try out. It's a wii concept phone. WHich means.. u know wat is wii right? those motion sensor games. yes this phone has it, there's a bowling game in it, u need to swing the phone in order to get the power in the game. x) and much more other preinstalled games,

and somehow it still works on its normal phone mood when plug into usb for file transferring. Unique huh? its built for gamers i can say, it has the x and o buttons above its screen.

And one more speciality is its loudspeaker. perhaps one of the best phone with loudspeaker i have ever heard. It has 3 loudspeakers. Very clear clean magnificent sound system. But the bad thing is.. somehow i realize new models from SE cant zoom into the picture..

Syok right?

will be starting a new blog though, i find that my blog posts aren't tagged and organized, due to laziness, and kinda hard for me to trace back my past posts.

I just realized, i had my most wonderful, awesome night scene in my life,
the stars here are so majestic la. You see them so clearly unlike in KL not a single one,
here its like.. really uncountable ones, 300+ there.very vivid, all those horoscope shapes.
Well have been jogging non stop every night. Na not long and tiring ones, around 2.5km there.
I find my medium of whispering to God, through Jogging,

Its like. You really get those christian music lyrics into your head,
Its more than just worship songs, Its like a conversation with God when you jog with christian musics.

Its strange but i wont feel tired jogging with it, i just kept on one step one step and on going phase, and just really flashing back to the word of God.

and i spent RM273 for the last 30 days. so in a way its just 23 bucks because 250 covered by goverment =) but that is just the expenses in my college la.

Man anyways, i miss marathon! goodness. Shall aim for at least 5 international and national events next year. Of course public open events la. Time to meet up some old frenz in world of sports =)

The real 21st Century Skycraper.

This isn't something new, its last year project and will be done in 2010. Well obviously i will say this project is insane, 21st century skycraper really crap a lot wei. If living in a 250-meter-high tower with rotating floors and a system to automatically produce electrical energy seems like something out of a science fiction book to you, all you need to do is go to Dubai in two years' time to realize how the real world, at times, can respond to the most incredible dictates of the imagination. To date, Dubai has the tallest hotal, Which is Burj Al Arab and the tallest building ( in progress) Burj Dubai, and soon in few years time, Al Burj, another tallest building, 1km height will be built, Its in planning still. Well but this time, this is the first ever self generated electricity building in motion.Sounds mad right? read on then.

This is a 59-floor high-rise equipped with a core of reinforced cement and a series of prefabricated units, each of which can rotate independently from the others, thus allowing the building to continually change its appearance. This true triumph in dynamic architecture - i think la* its the Rotating Tower -will be the first and ever type of whole true building in motion. David Fisher has the idea of this.now people can watch the sunrise and the sunset from the very same room.

The next insane part which i dont get is how is this building going to self generate energy with the constant motion concept. How is it going to spin 24/7 anyways? This concept has earned the unanimous acclaim of environmental associations. According to the designers of the high-rise, which will have a total price tag of $500 million, it should be capable of producing 191 million kilowatts of energy in a year, this worth over 7 million euro. In other words, this means that the energy savings should cover the cost of the work in a period of 56 years. If you look at the picture below you will get what i mean. Building in spinning motion that supplies energy for its own use by the spinning of turbine within the consecutive floors. wow.
Not only be the pioneer, the Dynamic Architecture building which will constantly in motion changing its shape with each floor capable of spin, move and rotate 360 degress independent of one another, will also be able to generate electric energy enough for itself as well as for other surrounding buildings from at least 48 wind turbines that fitted between each rotating floors as well as the solar panels positioned on the roof of the building that will produce pollution-free energy from wind and the sunlight. Any acoustics issues are solved by modern design of the building and the carbon fiber special shape of the wings. And the floor only rotates at the slow speed of about 6 meters a minutes, so that guests inside probably won’t feel it.

BUt evidently there is already a building in Brazil with smaller scale, 11 floors. with independently rotating units.

I wonder how is it going to be like after 2 years.. well im no longer interested in Architecture but thinking about the perspective from it, the architect needless to design it, because the building is.. rotating? omg la. ANd the worst part is that, im wondering if im the Civil engineer for the project, what type of insane idea im going to think of for the insane project.I will be thinking how rediculous to think how to support the whole freaking building with one column.

The past and the coming~

Year 2008 is just about to leave its History, by a few weeks times.
Have i achieved my goals?
and how much have i evolved throughout this transition year.

Well, honestly, not as much as i think i could reach for,
perhaps too much of laptop gamings instead of reading the newspaper.
Im still not going enough to cross the bridge overall.
But 08 has been a year filled with surprising though,
because i didnt even expect to come to Matric after spm.
and so many other things.

.So here comes year 2009,

Its exciting what God's kept for me next year,

Its university Life. Im no longer in my teenage life.

Time to meet real different people, time to be more productive,

and time to start serving in DUMC,

well after i come back from Malacca la of course,

but that's the next half year.

For the earlier half, i will still put my objective to prepare my perception towards University life.

Will write more about it during countdown*

.Budget has been tight, I eat a LOT, freakin LOTz. and no Fats In result! Wasting Money right. haha. Normally ten bucks a day then now like 15 edi cause tambah tea break snacks and supper x)

Well, this is my super early morning breakfast i can consider that, well i mean around 2am in the morning when i do gaming. haha.

Its like any sort of simple cooking, just biscuit, boiled egg, tomato, pepper. yummy!

This picture is awesome, realizing that my mom was having fun of course cause so many sisters and bros. The whole 2nd row sitting, yea her sisters and the middle grandma.And the uppest row with the bottom my cousins, and few more cousins not out yet that time. Very fortunate to have many cousins. hahha every chinese new year is really a big matter of getting together =)

ASked my fren to buy this speaker. 50 bucks.at PC fair malacca. not bad at all. whole room just transffered into a cinema. haha.

And that's my humble mp4. Really really cherish it. Bought it for 120 and its 2G. It's been like my partner.hahah closer than my phone.Ask anyone in my college, earphones are always on my side.this Mp4 may look simple of course, china brand, not ipod or wtv, but sound quality is still top with good earphones.Awesomeness. It's been my greatest motivation to go jogging,i wont jog unless there's a music partner. haha.

So its really in a blink of an eye. December huh? after Christmas then after countdown, what's coming up next?Will post up later about what i've achieved and learn this year. But yea 2008 has been my transition year, the year i really open up myself to many new things, like never before =)

p/s im still up with Civil engineerin in UM,and i hope that after 10 years of working experience i shall start my own brand or firm. hahah. too early to say, but who knows i will?

Its Not my Intention

There was once i saw an article in Star, few months ago,
there's this old folk saying that youth should not play too much but doing something serious,
At first i totally condemn that, i was thinking that playing is a part of learning.

BUT now, i partially agree with it.
And actually i find my thoughts came in pretty late,
Just that when i start to know more and more about politics economy and the outside world,
It really gave me a bigger view, and a clearer picture that how insignificant is tertiary education,
*mom i will still study dun worry haha*
.Cause all we need is just a certificate of education that's all,
and the working world is there to challenge u again,
.
But sometimes, having the urge to know more about the outside world hurts you too.
I think for private Colleges might be different, cause people there are mostly exposed.
But here, its like isolating yourself against others.
You see people here studying everyday, talking about movies and artists and all..
Just when u think u need someone to talk about economy outside there,
No one cares about it. So i just have the newspaper to be my accompany. =)

I need to carry on, and cant wait to get into Uni because there's where i can talk to people older than me. Aiesec here i come =)

p/s I find what im doin is fun. I actually record conversations with whoever i talk to without notice. It's actually a great way studying how personalities determine the way people speak, seriously.

8 Choices

Well am having a hard time deciding my choices right now,

The 8 choices of courses and in which University,

I've gotta think that right now cause application starts end of this month.

Of course i've set the top three choices as Civil Engineering in UM, UKM and UPM,

but what about the other 5 choices?

Environmental Engineering?

Manufacturing Engineering?

Industrial Engineering?

Not sure yet though,

but yea praise God for 4 flat again,

Doubt can even enter UM without it.

Now im hoping at least a band 5 for my MUET.

Congratz anyways for enduring the few months of brain killing process,

just that i would like to share some stuf la,

Education in Overseas/local/private/blablabla, they are all the same.

I was once like u perhaps, thinking that overseas are better than local,

i will write a short opinion here cause obviously no one reads a long one.

Environment

If you're thinking that Overseas have a good cultural experience there or wtv, Im not against it, but in fact, i think that cultures are all around, experiences is the matter how you create them, not grabbing them from the environment. Its true that a good environment influence someone to be good, but what if i say its the best way by impacting everyone including the environment, starting by yourself? Its just up to you to create your own learning environment, there's always areas to learn from, in overseas, of course you learn the way how other people think and all, but same goes here, in matriculation, i experience that way also, i learn how other people from other states and different races think too.

2. Just education Life.

Many people said good Universities will definitely give u a good future career by their recognition wtv, trust me that's all fake. Its all up to you how you perform and change yourself. Working life is so DIfferent than we can think, I might wanna study CIvil Engineering now, but who says i cant end up in the business sector after that? We only apply lesser than 5% of what we learn in the working world.What you study doesn't determine what you work as. And our studying duration is just like 7 years the most, and u've got 30 years + outside there working.Working life can be a twist of destiny also anyways. you study and study but still you graduate with just a piece of CERTIFICATE. yes there might be a difference, but only for your first job interview mostly, people just get the first impression with where you are from, but the interview itself is a different story, furthermore, the 2nd and 3rd job will be based on your first job resume. So no BIG deal right?

3. Long way more.

My plan is simple, after Matriculation, then into UM for civil, then out to overseas for Masters. I think that degree in overseas doesn't really earn you much experience, because you are still with your bunch of frenz, who knows you could end up in aussie with your same bunch of msia frenz? But i think getting to overseas for Masters is crucial because that's where your contacts start to flow in.It's part of the working life already la btw.

4. Overseas interest?

If you are so determined that Msia Sucks or wtv and wanna migrate to overseas, then go on to Overseas for studies, dont ever come back to work because you are just eating your own money up. JPa different study la, i mean those students with FAma ( father mother) scholarships. haha. you'll rather work overseas then. But consider again how well can u adapt to the place there, cause overall a lot Malaysians still say that Msia culture rocks with all those pasar malam amid of those political problems etc..

Well these are my advise la.. But its up to u again! =)

Miracle or not?

Well everyone is surprise, so am i.
.
I didnt expect to get 4 flat in finals for sem1.i expected lesser than 3.5.
Looks like almost all chinese here got 4 flat as well,
At first i was rather happy, cause 4 flat means its like 100% you can get your preffered course in local uni i think?
.
But after knowing so many people got perfect score, i knew that the goverment pulled the graph down like wat, just like SPM la. Its normal for all chinese here to get 4 flat, every year the same thing happens. Well, congratz ruth and Li Ann. excellect scores as well. Thank God too, i cant imagine if i get 3.8 while every other chinese got 4 flat.

I didnt expect. why? because every night i watch series and laptop gaming till as late as 3, then sleep in lecture and all, and with so many extra activities piling up my schedule, well Thank God for His blessing la.

Anyways, i will be back this friday, and be back here on Tuesday.Im going back to hometown anyways for the few days. December is interesting, many many birthdays. haha.

My guitar passed away

Well some add on, This is regarding about my Guitar.

The wife that has been with me for 3 years, that has motivated me, that has been my creativity tool, it's gone.

past monday, someone broke into my room and went away wit my roommate's laptop and my guitar. Then after several search, its of course not successfully searched.

But juz, when i was on my way back to KL, gang fight in my college,

THis is not confirmed, but something like this la...

The thief was identified, he got whack out by my roommate gang until went hospital,

police was there, the pengarah was there, My roommates laptop was found, but the person said that he sold my guitar away.

MY HEART BROKE.

it's the same feeling, like a couple divorce.

I haven't talked to him, But im so gonna get back my guitar instead of that money.

If i found anyone smashed my guitar, im so not gonna forgive him.

I can get my refund back, and get a sx or better guitar, but NO WAY.

Pissed off totally.

I've given a chance to write the very first essay in my college english journal.. some kind like one month one issue thingy, some same thing like Dj last time, the Djournal if u remember. I seriously need your help, by reading it and commenting on it. Well not practically on english grammatical errors, but are u being motivated by it or some reflections upon urself thingy, i need HONEST answer, if it sucks, say it. thanks!

Mirror In YourSelf.
It’s just like every other, same night when I marvel at the outside of my window, where diamonds of starlight suspend themselves in the unknown majestically. As the lullaby that sang along by the crickets quietens down my soul into my dreams, I baffled myself into the familiar question again. What’s LIFE again?

In my book, I always relate life to many things. Life is just like a battlefield, not a bed of roses. It’s meant for a life of fickle and fun challenges that will constantly enrich our understandings. Live out a life of actions rather than reactions! Life is short and fragile; it’s all up to us how we want to live it out loud. Always initiate challenges for yourself because it is the source of motivation and dignity. James Ullman once said ‘Challenge is the core and mainspring of all human actions. If there’s a wrong, we right it; if there’s a record, we break it; if there’s a mountain, we climb it.’ I have a dream, which is to form a group cycling group that will conquer all the highways in west Msia in one month time. We are just so well fed in this century of technology, I respect technology but I doubt that people today appreciate them, because we are born with it. It’s like a medicine for us every day , taking antibiotics too much isn’t good, same goes here, being dependent on technology discourages some treasured values I presume. Every moment when I look into my mom’s being, I get the picture of how the past hardships has molded her into someone whom I regard as my heroin today.

Life is just like being a cactus in the desert. You have to grow on your own roots; you are to have your own goals in your life. You are the leader of your own. Don’t simply accept facts in this cyber age because counterfeit facts are all around in the net. So debate within yourself, be solid of your beliefs and trust, get a grip of your own philosophy, and that’s when self integrities comes in. I’ve got interesting analogies for life. It’s just like sailing a boat in the Atlantic Ocean, you are the leader of it, you repair and upgrade the boat, see who reaches to the unchartered place first. Speed is the ultimate competitive weapon. Be first in the field, do it now, keep it simple, keep your eye on the ball! Be aware of your surroundings.

You have to know your thermometer of your life, which is your personality and goals; about how ‘hot’ is the enthusiasm from the inside out of yourself. Be certain that your existence has a purpose, no matter what religion you are or even being an atheist, having an objective in life is the key to everything. Just like every camp committees, they start off the meeting with the same thing, objective. This is the stepping stone to almost everything, all decisions are based upon it, and it’s the core of your heart and decisions. My objective is to be a motivator, to almost everyone who passes by me, well perhaps one of the reasons why I have the urge to write these thoughts.

Living life to the fullest is all about racing against you. It’s not about the achievements and the respect you earn by getting high position or being famous in anywhere, but the degree you have manipulated your personalities from them, towards a positive one of course. I’ve always relate life with Marathon races one after another, because you need to maintain your running phase in life if you want to achieve something extraordinary; and there is no time for celebration, but continue to step out for a more demanding challenge! There is no time to regret over something in life or many of us ‘emo over it.

If I would be granted a wish, I would want more time. The man who started IKEA divides his day into ten minutes section; he says ‘Ten minutes, once gone, are gone for good. Divide your life into ten minutes units, and don’t waste even a minute.’ The world is just so vast and abundance with all sorts of knowledge. , I wish I could master all of them but it seems like the most I could cover up few areas only. That’s why no one is perfect. In this case, life is just like a canvas, it all depends on how you colour it creatively. Create excitement in everything you do, and if something needs doing, do it yourself; always look beyond the obvious and put your ass on the line. Don’t be a leech, be a History Maker. Be a difference Maker, you are here to impact the world, to make this place a better place to live in. Heal the world, do no harm.

The person who dreamed up the Big Mac doesn’t believe in wasting of time, ‘If you have time to lean, then have time to clean’. Life is so hectic that we don’t have time to recognize the value of our past memories. If someone inquires me about my wish to be place, I would say a large plain field, where boundaries of skies and earth are indistinguishable, where nothing else in my sight besides the lovely sky, rough texture grass and my guitar. This is where past memories and lessons will embrace me and drives me further in future with the fortitude I’ve earned from analyzing my past. Some of us have the conception to not look at the past since you can’t change them, but ironically, I think it’s the enthusiasm created by it that will impact you further away. I believe we should assess our lives from time to time. Have we reached our goals? Are there things we can weed out that we don’t need?

Now , if you have ever imagined you had your worst day ever and complaining about almost everything under the sky. Then you should take the look at the unfortunate ones. Hellen keller proved that her world of darkness and silence are not her boundaries to learn. She persevered through it, she tried, and she succeeded. We are considered fortunate enough, we are healthy, we are having fun and a proper education with allowance! Imagine people in the hospital, they are yearning for a 2nd chance. We have a chance right now, so what are you going to do with it? Live it out loud!

We are 18, no longer teenage years soon, and soon enough to be young adults. I believe it’s time to move on, to open up our eyes to the real factors and current issues instead of sticking our eyes to the books. Yes, education is important, but they are just going to earn you an interview but not a job. I believe it takes more than social skills in interviews, people wants to know how much you know about the world, how determined are you, and also how much self esteem you’ve got, not just the ability to communicate well. Economy, Politics, Social world, it’s time to move into these, not just wandering around our matriculation syllabus. Always think out of the box, always think from the back and all perspective, listen to many instead of one, value your contacts right now because you might need to use them in the future job field. It’s a race, a competition of one’s ability to perceive the right and wrong and move on for a higher level of knowledge. Be an optimist instead of pessimist, think the yes way instead of no when challenges pile up your environment. Have the practice of enduring the aversion to talk to someone you dislike because imagine this, in future, business is everyone’s world, if want to join effort with an annoying guy but the reward is decent, that’s when the skill comes in.

I suppose the greatest assets for a difference maker in his own life is the attitude. Get your mind set right. A wiseman once said ‘It’s your attitude, not your aptitude that determines your altitude.’ You get attitude from 7 areas, personalities, environment, the impression towards others, self image, experience, association with peers, and most importantly, beliefs. You need confidence and competence in order to make your life stratospheric. Dreamers don’t drive dreams to possibilities, they live it to reality. You might laugh at their unfeasible goals but most entrepreneurs who succeed are those who step up to almost everything that came into their minds. Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Companies, has the motto of ‘screw it, let’s do it’ and has put his company’s name beyond anyone could think of. He wasn’t a P.h.D holder, neither a person who didn’t step into college, just one thing that made his name well admired, Attitude.

.Nothing ventured, nothing gain. Think yes, not no. Be yourself, be a history Maker. I have never been one to do things by the books, but I have been inspired and influenced by many remarkable people, I hope that you too might find a little inspiration between these pages. I might write leadership and entreprenuership or being environmentally friendly in the next series.

THere're so many times i'm making hypothesis.. What if..?
There's no tomorrow, When you just open up your eyes, and the whole world has turned upside down.
What if the world is gone, and just left you alone.
What if... you were just closing your eyes forever and never wake up..?

It's not a joke anyways about our mother earth's condition right now, anything could happen, no such thing as prediction, there are such vast amount of mysteries and unexplained phenomenons popping out in the minds of the experts. Things can just go wrong within night and that's the end of everything.

Time is precious. It's artful and many of us could just waste it by unnecessary emo feelings, just clutching our legs in a corner and being self pity.
It's just like a canvas waiting for you to paint it with your own colours.
I've seen, so many wonderful things that i wish i could master. Because almost everythin is evolved from creativity, and i have this rage for anything that could enhance my creativity. Cooking, photography, Sewing, Architecture.. It's just so many and so awesome.

Just one factor. TIME.

I muz utilize my every second into the process of learning of all these new area. I am trying to explore new talent in new areas. This world is so big and just so many many things for us to learn. Well I'm just a small little tiny winy human been in this galaxy, but if i'm living my life to the fullest everyday, then in my world, im not wasting my time, at least.

My thoughts : what makes educations In Singapore And Malaysia different?
i think it's worth for a shot to read. hahaa.my point of view.

JUst two pictures that will totally put your mind into the state of mentation. Of course, the reputation of our neighbour country has given us the imprint that NUS (National UNiversity of Singapore) is much better than UM (University Malaya), that's the first thing that flash across your mind right? i bet that.

Are Singaporeans Smarter Than Malaysians?

Personally i think this is quite a ridiculous question. How can you measure the intellectual capacity or psychometric abilities of a nation vs another nation? You have to acknowledge the other variables that come into play. E.g. finance, sponsors, luck etc. And besides, just because there are slightly more singaporean students in certain top universities, than malay students, one cannot conclude or state that singaporeans are smarter than malays. If u think you're right than US students are smarter than singaporeans, than english students smarter than singa, and canada, and australia etc. you see how ridiculous this is.

Intelligence is not measured by the institution that your in, but rather the psychological and mental capabilities that you can manifest from your mental capacity. the perception of singaporeans being smarter than malays is an oversimplification.

Part 2:

Role of both Goverments.

You might be thinking, Malaysia's Student population is 6 times more than Singapore's. But again what are the reasons why only so few malaysians manage to get into Ivy Leagus UNis, cambridge oxford or wtv.. Many of us saying about going Singapore to study, while all the Singaporeans have left for Ivy Leagues.

One is to be blamed. Government. No doubts.

Better Government= Better Education system.

Examination in Msia doesnt prove a single thing. Talking about SPM is like a totally rubbish for me, it's just so much mind based, i've roughly look through Singapore's syllabus like, very creative indeed.very practical based, very impressive. Msia SERIOUSLY needs to review it's syllabus. Even the matriculation programme im studying now, i dont even pay a single respect for it, but i took it because it's a shortcut to Local Unis. The syllabus is so outbeaten by private Uni's foundation year syllabus, what more if we compare it to Singapore?

Silly Government just means Silly implication of technology and investments. We are so proud to hear about the vast amount of budget allocation for Education, but everything just ends up wrongly. One complicated thing in Msia is that, there are SO MANY types of educations here... in Sgapore, ( as i know of) 3 Local Unis, and 5 polytechnics. BUt for Msia, its countless, 40++ of tertiary education centres. It's nothing to be proud of. Of course the number will increase, but the TYPES of educations here.. Matrics, local private, international private.. polytechnics.. uitms.. so many chains.. very very unorganized. The ministry must really review at this.

Singaporeans are considered better than Malaysians because of the training they are exposed to at the undergraduate level. They have faculty members from different parts of the world. Thus, they exercise higher level of thinking using evaluation and logical analysis in applying knowledge into their work. In Malaysia, college education is diluted. I cannot imagine feeding students at college level by printing them notes..

part 3:

Country's status.

It's easier in terms of financial for Singaporeans to get into Ivy Leagues and any prestigious Unis you can think of because of the amount of opportunities they get.

Top U.S. universities like Yale, Harvard, MIT and Princeton have extremely generous financial aid for singaporeans because of the high status Of NUS. but when you talk about Msia best UNi, UM, i guess i do not need to even mention about it.

Part 4:
The other part.
i read across an education blog and this point is kinda catchy for me. I think it's true. Each has their pros and cons. The reason why Singapore government has been so willingly to offer Msians PR and bonus while workin in their country is the way we think.We think differently, more freely, more creatively. I believe its that way la. Asian students would walk up to the microphone and talk about some cause, not the Singaporeans.i read across this,Singaporean columnist Wong Lung Hsiang said it reflected what he heard in China that “Taiwanese are shameless, Hong Kongers are heartless, Singaporeans are ignorant”. Singaporeans are good collectively, but individually they are lost. They are Affluent, Educated, but are they really survival Smart? “I won’t say we are stupid. We are just not daring and street-smart,” commented a Singaporean studying abroad. The average Singaporean is good at academic studies and works hard, but falls short on individual initiative and streetwise qualities, relying too much on the government for help. Another Q to be considered.

WHen we go into a Relationship,

it may sounds funny,

but it doesnt play wit age,

it determines how determined you are to involve yourself in a serious one.

If you're saying you're into BGr for lovey dovey feelings,

or wanna share love or wtv,

then that's too bad, ( in my opinion)

there's a much greater reason than that..

much awaited purpose to find a life partner.

If it's wasn't stufs like facebook, frenster, or even MSn, or let's just say the whole internet online communication, i bet love life during teenage years isn't the same at all. Within Seconds..

Just within days, that i felt the time pass by within seconds.. man so true, when ppl is so chillin and unproductive, time just flew pass in the blink of an eye. Let's see.. Friday i came back.. Sat and Sun relatives came.. busy with Cousin's wedding dinner... monday which is yesterday i went out with Some matrics Frenz... then today.. just sit still in front of my laptop and discovery channel, man not even moving my butt!

At first exam we all were like in the state of despair, hoping for the rain to come or wtv. Then when exam overs, everyone started packing their bags and givin their outing cards to the guardhouse and headed back home. and when they reached back, "wat am i going to do now" that's wat happening to me, unproductive. Rotten edi la. well.

Friday going back to Matrics edi, Sat got Muet Test.. well not much to study though,im just thinking how to make my life more convenient there. Gonna buy a boiler first, maybe bring a toaster.. and then im going to makeover my corner. I LOVE making over my place. Well since my room in KL is all ikea, you dun expect me to undrill them and rearrange everythin right.. but there is like all moveable.. so yea, every month sure change the position of the wardrobe and everything.

I LIKE NEW ENVIRONMENT.

I blame my roomates actually. I dont think my room is a studyin place. like my bed, im really considering to shift it,cause it's joined to the other malay dude's bed, and he sleeps topless and he rarely baths. so imagine that. I even wash my bedsheets weekly btw =)

.and msn 2009 is not really nice for me.. it doesnt suit windows vista theme.. my opinion la.Man thinkin exam for 2nd sem is in the month of Jan.. wa!

There's always hope for EVERYthing...

It's Age Gap, Or Maturity Gap?

Sometimes i have always wondered...
If it's ppl's mind or age that determines Maturity.

I've always look forward towards growing older x) .

hhahaa well many ppl say i just look like a std 6 boy with a tall height* =.="

but i've always stirred this question in me,

We've always think that the elder generation is more matured, more experienced in life,

but some of us we might question again ..

'what if they are just noob who doesnt have experience but just an old somebody?"

Im thinking if it's possible for us (young adults) to have the experience or maturity, concept of thinking like the elder ones.

Thus, i personally think that it's impossible because experience has its boundaries too.

I think when ppl gets older, their dunno wtv some kind of hormone will encourage them to think the other way too.

That's why there's so many times we, the younger generation, just complained that our parents don't understand us, and even when we say we have experienced what they had been. But i think it's this, their different hormones that gave them their different ways of thinkings.

Well im not saying its a bad thing for that to think such ways, in fact God has His purpose why often our thoughts collide with our parents' thoughts. But let's take some example, Jojo, JonasBrothers, Taylors Swift, David Archuleta.. sounds familiar right? yea they are all the same age as me (if im not wrong) they can be matured in the way of fashion, music industry and blablabla... they might be so classified above our own category of age because they are so popular and just appear in wtv places wtv time with their Mvs or songs.. Many ppl adore them and many ppl just think they are hot even older ones are up to chase, But true enough, they are matured by the amount of things they have gone through, BUT not the amount of time they have gone through.

you know Anais Nin once said..

We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. Local UNi or Private Uni?

You stand for it

Many of us do came across this question, especicially during form 5,

Of course u are expectin me to say Local is good, cause im in matrics,

well i have my own reasons, to me it depends on ur own path.

But if u are pathless, yes local is definitely the way.

owh yea u might cough at my ideas.

at first neither i even thought of what i can think about now,

i used to think of private Unis having awesome facilities, awesome lecturers..

People there with decent social skills, interacting values and all..

alrite let me pinpoint some differences i see.

Local UNis students are more matured then Private Unis.Shocked to hear tat? but yea, politically i mean. no doubt.but talking about general maturity its up to the personality of a person.cause at matrics we really see the difference in each individual, from different races, backgrounds, religion and place. i know taylors sunway also got ppl from other states, but as long u havent experience the difference in matrics, yea pppl here are rather different. u gotta suit urself to everyone here.
When we see the way how local and private Uni student present, normally Private Uni ppl look a little outstanding then local uni because they got more time to update themselves wit fashion.And $$$.
and why study private uni when u need to pay so much for it? it's like u are studyin and paying for it. if u cant study well, then u eat it la. In matrics, we are paid to study =) owh yea. allowance~ and a free entrance to local uni with juz <20k>
and in terms of facilities. man if u havent seen local unis facilities but juz privates, then dun say about it.The goverment has allocated a lot of money on education.yeap they did, but not exactly upgrading the whole uni's facilities but building new ones yea la.
PPl in LOcal uni tend to seem to be more humble compared to locals. low profile in doing stuf perhaps? this im not too sure yet.
Some private Unis courses are risky as they are not recognized by authority boards yet. or maybe jpa.. stuf like civil engineering and Archicture, and there is no problem for Local unis at all because, they are Goverment Uni =)
But private Unis like taylors college with their SAM or alevels are the ways to go overseas universities.While u dun expect a person wit matric go overseas, (it's' possible in some countries) but not in aussie yet.

well it all depends on yourself la, maybe u are rich then go on la. but for me local university is my colours of life. so then!

But it's quite true la when my cousins tell me, whatever you study doesnt determine what you will do in the future, there's always a diversity of complicated jobs outside there and you wont expect yourself to do what you dream. But of course you dun expect a doctor becomin a teacher la. Like my cousin who studies IT, and at first doin banking systems, now his job diverts to doing risk analysis, juz because he is wise for his area.

IQ is no longer a boundary in the future, i'm not saying its totally useless, but eq determines it all, let's say it this way, ppl with high eq are the ones who are outgoing, representing their companies for sponsors, and it's indirectly saying, he is the ONE who gets the most contacts. people at the frontline knows more as they approach to different areas. People at the back might be important as well, yes they are, but they wont be having as much advantages as the frontline people. So yea working place is the battlefield for self reputation over eq abilities~

Being different= being extraordinary?

....

yea that question kept on repeating in my mind. sometimes i wonder why i didnt intend to put my interest in psychology, since *i think* i like to figure out about how action and reactions play their roles in a person's mind. What i've thought is that, there are 2 possible ways of reading it.

'being different makes u extraordinary'

'being extraordinary makes u different.'

I only agree wit the first one. Very simple. how can we consider ourselves extraordinary, we aren't super heroes, we aren't angels, we aren't some super creatures. Owh yea we have seen hancocks and batman and blablabla, those things that make them different.

but yea face it, it's because the differences in us that make us extraordinary.

Then u might think. Difference? then everyone is extraordinary because everyone is different?

That is something im quite confused of sometimes too. i would say, not difference in personalities, but differences in seeing and treating things. its like,, ppl see this thing from point A, but ur first thought would be point B. That's why i call some extreme optimists as extraordinary too. haha. It's just being out of the game. You don't need to compete with others about whose idea won the day or wtv, Just one word from ur view point and it's done.

.now tat's powerful.

Again it relates to all the others definitions of social attitudes. Everyone has theirs, *if u have la* Maturity, Leadership skills, motivators, yea all being extraordinary because they need to think the opposite ways if they want to do or be extraordinary too. I define Maturity as a lot of stufs.. welll.. a lot.Infact, no one can be 100% fully matured here, on this planet.

Because i think maturity covers so many areas,

......and one of the hardest, emotionally maturity...........

now i bet u understand that.

so it's being different in thoughts, in maturity that brings out the extraordinary of urself =)

MSN can be a real wonder sometimes.. well im not in exuberance, cause it has been a long time ever since a really chat wit someone through Msn la.. I dunno why but really put me on the thought that this world is really huge. Suddenly makes me wanna study psychology pulak hahha about the way ppl connect and all.

Maybe its the way i think or wat i dunno, but it suddenly made me realize how awesome God is through Msn. the way He links everybody with different background and personalities today.I was seeing the list of friends i got... DJ school, DUMC church.. some online frenz.. and now some MAtrics palz.. it really reflects to me the meaning of personality.I think that i'm really a mix of all these ppl. i mean u'll just realize la eventually that the way you think and how matured you are is actually depending on the list of frenz u got right there. I really put contacts as a priority especialy for now, no matter whoever you encountered, just get the contact down,u might really need them when u go Unis as u got projects waiting for u ahead.

World is just so huge la.Went out wit Pei Fang, May Wern and Yi ming, just so realized that everyone is like from segi, taylors and help. I'm not sayin im jealous but they are rich so ya. I somehow realize im changed ever since i went Malacca. the moment i step into OU i juz suddenly felt that strange feeling, it's weird yes i know.but i actually miss matrics life, the ppl there especially, almost everyone there i know, they are very unique in their own ways.. and i'm slowly blending into the culture of theirs.. so yea perhaps?

man i dunno wat im trying to say actually. but i miss my classsmates la! all also got own company edi! come back from malacca dun choi me! hahaha.expected* one week of holiday starts!

I'm back to Home sweet Home!!

If some of you still wonder how my room(s) look like.. hahha here it goes, i actually believe that a person's preference towards interior designing reflects his personalities. so figure mine out la =)

My room@ college, morning.

night i like the ventilation there, cause im staying at 3rd floor. so yea 4 stories above, and my block is on the hill. In a way its super tired la walking two flows back and go to lectures. juz like jogging.need to walk like 300M then walk up the hill then walk up the stairs. phew*

but the air is super cooling la tel you! i blow clothes instead of drying clothes actually.. but when it rains,its like the worst thing could happen, cause my window is facing the sea direction, so its like super freaky when it rains.

But now... comparing it to my home sweet home.

differences? expensive wardrobes from Ikea while the colleges are just plywoods.and owh ya! electricity charge! i on the plugs in my college room 24/7. free ma! ahhaah..

And yes im in love with half boiled eggs! x)

its very scary to say that i eat averagely 3 eggs a day.

It actually took my 3 rides passed by to get on the lrt today. First time took starline then change to putraline. Putraline has the worst service ever. KTm best i think. why? Putra is just 2 mini trains only and while hundred ppl waiting outside? see!

Bus tickets went up to RM15 edi.pocket hurts wei.

Well but nice to be home! had my stomach filled with nice stufs at last, but not yet eaten pork though x) will be going out to OU meet up wit ex classmates and Yi ming later on. and yes i must study for goodness sake!! finalz!! waaa!!!!

I was reading doctorsjob A-Z explained courses guide book too.. To tel ya the truth im not too sure what i wanna be too, at first i thought of doing architecture but Msia seems to be just impossible to do it la, then i thought aircraft maintenance Engineer at MAS but seems that my uncle just now told me that Aviation industry is having a hardtime from the rice of crude oil and this affects their business.. but now? at Matrics? few options im considering now..

man do you believe this news? our goverment is in the top 10 for most efficient goverment in the world. sweat! well dunnn how they analyze it la though. Maybe due to some latest issue such as oil price control and politics.

I remember sayin i have 6 pairs of shoes in my hostel currently. But the fact is that i so want this pair la!!! rm385! i just bought my Nike Zoom like months ago. ish. and this looks juz so freakin nice la. very fashion going~
k this is how i spent my weekend lor... sunday! i will say more about this church sooner, got lotz to say la. even though is like juz around 30 ppl? well compared to dumc who has 3000+?

then eat at church too~ owh yea church will be havin bbq night next sat! so will go stayover night too after tat! syok!
then went 'shoppin' of course, need to spend money, but imagine in ou. cant spend less than 50 bucks. here 30 bucks is enought to buy the whole week's stuf.

Budget 09' Guess many of u ppl heard about the budget 2009. It's pretty interesting to read it btw.What grabbed my attention was the RM46.5 billion that set aside for development spending -- a hefty 31 per cent jump from the 2006 amount u know! What im concerning the most is on the improving public transport part.

well im a rapid kl supporter btw, remembering back how often i use the buses durin my workin memories in Ikea. I believe these are some things you gotta know too la~

A sum of RM35bil will be expended during the period 2009 to 2014 to improve public transportation
The existing LRT system in the Klang Valley will be extended by 30km, that is 15km respectively, for Kelana Jaya and Ampang lines. Upon completion in 2011, the extensions are expected to benefit 2.6 million residents in the Subang Jaya-USJ and Kinrara-Puchong areas, compared with 1.9 million currently.
A new LRT line will be built along a 42km route from Kota Damansara to Cheras; to be completed in 2014.
The commuter rail services of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) will be upgraded. Rehabilitation works are being undertaken on the existing 20 Electric Multiple Units (EMUs) and are expected to be completed in 2009. An additional 13 new units of EMUs will be acquired and be operational by 2011

yea, these are specifically about public transport. means that my condo property would raise price since its juz beside the depot station. woohoo new station juz beside my condo! Sounds pretty ya? but i dont really trust. SERIOUSLY. i mean these things should have been done like ages ago la.and when u say 'upgrade', i doubt our goverment's way of making dreams to reality. .

Yes U heard it, we got SO MUCH money, but have we seen the results of budgets years ago? If i wasnt wrong, the concept of having KL as a wifi city was once a part of the budget long time ago too. And the report came out is ' wrong usage of application etc.' man tahi kerbau la! it's called RASUAH budak!

MSIA is a rich country. If there's no such thing as Rasuah and some better management and mentality of malaysians, i believe singapore's standard is nothing to us la. So wat im guessing now is that, wait till there's no petroleum la see how msia survive.

Happy Birthday Rachael!!!

Well but juz so u know tat, im still unclear about her bday date~

Just so you know, Rach is my CG leader. Well many stufs to tell you about her and how i met her and all... but few stufs i wanna point out la.

What i've learnt from Rac? hahha well, tonight is such special that i really see why Rachael should be my mentor la. I see some stufs i really need to grab from her. i mean learn from her =)

Rachael is a really really optimistic person, and when i say being optimistic, she does it more than tat, being very supportive too. I mean she just say 'cool' all the time la when ppl say a statement or sharin their opinion and i believe that's something that contributes to her social world la. And she's very very strong. I mean i juz noticed, i havent came across a time when she says she cant and all, but can and can! It's these values that gave her frenz tat feeling la that she's special =)

Well another thing i muz revolve within me too. Im being juz too.. braggy? well not brag but i need to learn how to remain silence. i mean watever im doing and all.. Like let's say there's this project im doin, i wont tell other ppl that im doin it until i have finished it successfully. I mean being secretive success la.

& another thing too. I must gain contacts!

It's crucial actually. for all people around age of pre u till u start working la. It's very important to get contacts around la. Not for GF or wat duh! but let's say future u got project and u need sponsors, and so appear u need people who works as nutritionist, yea that's when contacts are useful. THen, in this preception, facebook and frenster are useful. haha. Time to wake up ppl! we arent teenagers anymore, we are turning into young adults! Time to try being really independent, as in not taking any money from parents, & work while study the same time? yea!

Anyways, went back to DC (Dream Centre) again after a super long time. miss it so so much =) my cg!! omg la. Germaine! still hot with her hot hair. bwahahha. anyways, yea they were on the topic BGR. think that i came on the right time seriously cause i learnt a lot.

After somehow talking and thinking about my own BGR world so long, i realized again im not fully prepared for another relationship yet. Of course im not after playing ones, i only go for a person if i consider she can be my future partner. And only when i think im prepared, well in these 4 areas. (spiritually, physically,mentality, Emotionally.) maturity in these 4 areas. well its very true la the 4th one i need to improve a little. Infact when we say emotionally maturity, there's more than a page to say about it la.

Im not looking forward for any BGR any moment, i need to bush up my studies first.. well and i need to repair myself in many areas too. Im finding for someone awesome with all the requirements and i need to prepare myself to meet her first =) well but first of all, all to God la. His decisions. But i know la, there's one i plan to go after when my matric finish. ahaha & still explorin her more la.

Well was talking to Wen An, wat she told me is quite true. ahaha. there's always Mr Wrong. Well, when i see my past relationships, i just realized how i discovered the right person for me la.

Welcome to the best chapter of my life!

well i can really sit down blog about kakom all day but no time. so yea guess it's just picture stories la. have fun!

yes you got it, representing my college is another meaning of representing malacca.

This Kakom is just like ibarat mini olympic la. so happen to be same time as olympic. and it's like instead of coutries competing, this is college from different states coming together. 9 matric colleges and 2 mara colleges.

Yea my teammates trying to distract their attentions by asking their phone number =.=

Don't get lost by first impression, they are awesome ppl to mix with. really.
Sepak Takraw, another exciting game to support. Kakom is all about the spirit of cheering and using it to distract ur enemies.haha.
We had inter kebudayaan competition too. some sort of dance&performance thingy.. well & tell you! i thought of learning silat now.ahahha.

Owh well talking about food.. We got 6 meals a day here as usual, & tambahan pulak, everyone got those stuf la everyday.
100 plus 2 bottles per day.
Banana take how many you want la. Oranges too. well i brought them home too. hahaa.
Livita. Best thing ever got. 2 bottles too per day. i find it more effective then powerbar.
we had bazaar during night too.

Well, during rehearsal for opening ceremony.
In jackets.
and the ceremony is at night. pretty cool. The volleyball court.
One thing that gave kakom the olympic feeling. we have 'live telecast' too. na meaning just over Nsembilan matric college. to display the current result and the placing of all colleges. my college got 5th place overall.
KMM, my college la. team manage to get into final.Individual guy and doubles girls. The cheering was awesome tell you.

Yea crowded, 2k ppl wandering around everywhere.

The whole 4 days are tiring can tell you. Not because of playing vbal tournament, but cheering like wat.
Other contestants.from down to up.. labuan, pahang, johor,then dunno dunno..
Flags are always the must lor when it comes to cheering.

Yea the volleyball court. My team beat perlis and mara kulim for group event. Then went quarter final and lost to pahang labuan and johor.

and the greatest stuf is that before Kakom, we had kakom camp first, to build up the team spirit and create cheers and all..

alrite i know i haven't been blogging since ages. sigh*i really hope i have time and better wireless coverage here? haha. but well juz a little short update before i go to class. Kakom is finally here!! incase u are wondering what is that? it's the inter matric colleges game.

can tell you it's so gonna be the best chapter in my life.ahahah why? it's like we have the feeling of going olympic wei. and so happen to be the same period as olympic.And also, it's like we got super lotz of free stuf la. bet its enough to make you jealous. ngehahahha. shoes, socks, begs, cap, jersey, jacket, bottom track, 3 shirts. well and yea all free~ and also rm15 allowance per day. so u think la, how the goverment spends money.

My college sending out 157 ppl, so when we go there, there is around 1700 ppl i think? competing in all different events. well even debate and chess, not only sports. That excitement is something really new to me. It's like we are representing not only our college but malacca. Same goes to others~ well will post up splendid pictures when i get back la~

Owh and ya! i will be back next thursday, then return to college when school holiday ends. So any outin ask me first la! im so going to shop wei!!! see ya ppl! next friday will definitely go back to DJ visit. then sat and sun church... monday til wed go back sitiawan.. thursday is booked by julien.. hahaa. friday going n.sembilan relative visit again. yea so that's all.

owh and ya! im starting my new frenster soon and also new msn. soon la! juz to 'eliminate' some long lost fren and strangers. and yea i got a whole new bunch of people here. so guess it's a new life afterall?

My Matric Life ( Chapter 1)

Chapter 1: A Brief introduction?

Just incase you dunno where im studying....=.=

yes, in malacca! well not really in malacca.. but further up. and nearer to the beach..
I can tell you that this college is actually a perfect spot for photographers, very nice sceneries!This is basically my room. quite huge right? actually suppose to share with 4 other ppl. 5 ppl per room la. but initially 4 ppl only my room so quite lucky la.. then one person got Uitm offer so flew there. so left 3 ppl. and now one of my roommates jump room. so guess i have plenty of space la =) i wanna pet something in my room la! tortoise? hamster? erm no bird? hahaha. or maybe plant some plants? just like a symbol of motivation la. and owh ya PLENTY of cats here. omg la. everywhere!

And yea im quite a clean guy =) .now i know what does it mean to be a clean person. hahaha i mean, my mom usually sweeps the floor and all before even stepping out the door to anywhere. same goes here, it's like.. i sweep. 24/7? ahahha. yea when it's something u precious, u'll take care of it =)

And yea i had my exams few days ago, can tell you that i study for nuts! nothing studied came out.meaning the exam super easy la! can get 100 wan but u know la me... careless mistake! and UPS mid term exam is easy owh yea~ but this means final will be super hard. as in super hard. ish. yea few pics to let you see! =)

Our exam hall? was in the library actually. there are around 3k ppl here.so cramp la!

And yap, after that straight away went to Uitm for volleyball friendly match. Lucky uni ppl! got pasar malam there wei durin evening! And of course the sports facility is awesome can tel you! so huge la.

And owh yea im representing my college for volleyball tournament. and yea u get it. im the only chinese in my vbal team and class. how awesome right? sigh*

Alrite u might be thinking im falling in love, nah, never will i think. Crush is a normal thing edi la, it comes and goes, man life over here is just so sad la. No girls my type pulak x) it's like when i met someone new, then i'll be hinting myself. 'man she's not bad' but as i get to know more, it's like 'na nvm she's not my type.' I've gained enough experience, cough cough i think* from my past boygirl relationships la. Im making no rush about my love life, leaving it to GOd totally~ =)

All im looking for in Her is just one thing, the heart for God. fullstop.

Last time i used to say a lot of stufs about it. like must be a sports person + leadership skills + musical talented...but it just seems it's so hard to find someone like this.well maybe i found around 5 ppl like this in my school? but here in this college... na. But the first priority is that she must be a christian. Im not saying im super uber religious holy molly, just that i think it's this perspective that will make the relationship special from another. =) ask me why in personal.

Well, yea the truth is, im a little desperate. S.A.D single and desperate? but i just dun rush it la, everyone here is still new to me. And another thing, yea no way for a long distance relationship. One thing really make my mind go around.. hahhaa why is it. after highschool, this pre u age? then everyone starts to be thinking of getting into BGR? ahahha speechless me.

BACK in KL!!!

omg la so long didnt update blog edi!!! not because i dun have internet connection in my college or wat. but yea, life is just so so so hectic la. sigh* even now im having flu while writing this... then later study, then tml pack stuf and back to my 'island' ahhaha.

i can practically tel you how much i miss KL.. through FOOD =.=

yea it's like durin the bus trip back to kl, i plan wat to eat edi when i reach back here. the western food at old lim kok wing building... then roast pork!! mcd!!! and guess how much i spent in juz a hawker stall.. RM25. juz for my food. chunted right.

headed to church after that! it's just around 2 months and everything seems to be so different. juz like stepping back into ur old, 10 year ago home that mysterious feeling.at first i thought of doing a surprise visit pulak =.= then julien is the first to know im comin back.. then rachael.. germaine... blablabla. so not that fun afterall. but it's awesome to get back to church.got to talk with pastor and all... it's great to know everyone is doing great in their lives =) and owh ya germaine cut her hair short!! omg!! kk stories end* and wel, im kinda sick through out the whole day so now emotion to think back wat happened. and yea of course met Julien as well, my blur donkey! ahhaha suppose to see her math paper pulak =.= but someone shy shy la.

i really wish i can be here for a week? ahahah wait till my mid sem break this early august la... so many ppl to ask them out... well wen an? my ex classmates? my cgs... bianca, julien, caryn.. well so many kua...

owh ya and one thing that really made me think back. at first when i went into Matriculation, i was thinking why i enter into erm... cough* such a low profile place? well not that way of saying.. but now when i think again, it's finally a point which my result finally helped me la. cause if i appeal into matric muz get good results only can go in. which is quite true la. SPM is juz like... u enter private college unis that's all la, maybe the best is juz a scholarship? or worst is entrance la. JPA is another thing la. but matric is just like, i see the non bumis there as some ppl i can really respect la. well not all, but mostly 2nd batch ppl, i can see leadership materials in most of them. it's like the best of every school la. I've no regrets entering matric after mixing myself up wit these people.

and afterall, matric is not that bad like wat we think.. but of course, ppl here speak malay and even the lecturers, wat to do? find ur own gang and speak english la. =) one thing i define la. whereever u study or watever, the degree is just a passport, but if u study local uni, gotta make sure ur social skill is out of the common local uni box, apart of this, i dont see any difference in studying help/taylors/sunway or local uni. well maybe because u cant get matric or u dun prefer the environment here =) results earn u an interview but social skill and personality earn u the job. but afterall, i wanna say that im glad to be in matric =)

alrite finally got time to post something up! tell u ppl ar! i can feel my typing speed deteriorate edi. shall bring my laptop here soon! alrite i dun really have a specifically thing to blog about but talk about the life here la... and yea if u are wonderin why i don't plan about goin home durin weekends is because i juz dont find a reason to.and yea petrol price increase so no say anymore! =)

Life here is simple. well life is always simple for me la, juz that i make it complicated. i don't really know how is it like compared to other tertiary education like a levels or sam but i have only 3 compulsory here to study, math chem and physics.. english here is important as well for muet but i don't see it as a problem la. but u must be saying 3 subs is so relaxing but well from what i see, i think the syllabus is actually almost the same as stpm juz that they cut short some sub chapters and squeeze it into 1 year, so it's pretty rushy. and plus all my everyday training for Kakom volleyball, life here can be pretty hectic la. it's like class is from 8 till 3 or sometimes 4... then 2 hours break between them.. then 5 til 7 got vbal training... then by the time i shower and eat and wander around it's already 9.. and normally wil study till 1 la. that's my everyday life la.

Overall matriculation is something i really appreciate now, i dont expect superb facilities or wtv here, but the environment because it's the one that gains ur maturity and strength. I got a lot of things to post here but seems like my blog is under 'observation' cough cough* man i pity my blog i tell you, last time is like so often updated and many ppl read but now is like in the longkang edi... sigh* i wrote 2 songs btw. shall blog about it soon =) and no im not going to be so silly of myself post the playlist in the blog again. hahahaha!

Im back!!! well for 46 hours to be exact. hahahah sunday going back malacca again... =.= well seriously.. life is hectic over there... I miss my room though.. my ikea wardrobe!!! the smell!! or wtv!!! but life there is a training owh yea for sure~ im back this time to shop and grab some stuf to bring over there for convenience seek only... dun think so will be coming back until august holiday...

well but talking about august holiday.. i cant say 100% too... im trying real hard right now to enter KAKOM.. i dunno if i spelled it correctly.. i know my blog is being observed by some KMM students now... shake heads* its an inter matric college competition, going to be held in seremban matric college during the august mid sem break! currently im joining the basketball, but to be honest i dun find any path i can go to basketball KAKOM.. but somehow this coach asked me to join volleyball practice...so yea i will go for that. his reason? i can jump high. =.=" well seriously not high.

Life over here is about studyin 24/7. there are night classes... and when u reach back ur room, it's another study session cause mostly ppl study until 1 or 2 with their doors open.. so its kinda pressurin la... if im not wrong the syllabus is same as a levels.. and they cut short some facts.. .then cramp everythin into one year timeframe.. so it's like super duper rush. one week finish one chapter. and the truth for me is that, if i dont study for one weekend, i can totally prepare to feel left behind... wait maybe a night even!

Im having great time interacting with Malays.. =) they aren't that bad. i learn a lot of stuf here. well juz more than a stay in campus thingy... more than time management... but to respect how the way they are. more than meets they eye ppl! hahaha. and yea but one thing i scared... my english deteriorating lor... my bm is improvin x)

this post im gonna share what i saw and experienced in matric

Alright ppl, yea my first time using the computer here to online~ i have plenty to say now.. juz got 20 minutes to blog right now. This place, i have one word. AWESOME. not to say like u will be expecting 5 stars hostel room or awesome food. But its the environment here that teaches me about so many things. It's not about living in the hostel that life, its about how you blend urself into the life of others and appreciate who they are. To those racist ppl outhere, if u juz cant accept wat im goin to say, pls juz get out of msia. If u are thinking that most malays has the concept of tak apa wan... pls think twice, i've seen lotz of events here that earned my respect. Well, my bm improve though. hahaha. so dun be surprised when u talk to me in bm soon.

Matric is not bad at all, but well all depends on ur personal view again. I'm a middle income family so i see this as a treat from the goverment. U get everything free here exclude food but with allowance of 250 per month. and after that u get to go degree in local unis which cost just around 20k for the whole thing. well talking about medic tuition fees too... if u say overseas.. at least 1.3 mil right?

Im just aiming for one simple thing, get into UM. if my result is good, getting a cgpa of 4.0.. then i MIGHT consider medicine in there, then my2nd choisce will be Civil... or Architecture? need to see first la.. lotz to explore now in matric...

Life here is simply cool. i could say that. Its 'like new york everday.. everyone must wear formal to classes. and during clas exchange, can see crowds walking past each other. there is almost 3k ppl here btw. Food is really cheap... library and sports centre are just besides my hostel... Life is like so planned now. im lovin it.

Well anyways, im studyin in physics stream. but based on years histories, many ppl could get into local uni medicine provided tat they get4.0 in their cgpa.

Alrite this MIGHT be my final post i guess.... maybe i will still continue post la. but super seldom. im going to malaca on monday edi, for the local matriculation programme. somewhere in bukit landong.. in case you are wondering what is local matriculation, its like our malaysian version of SAM programme. meaning u can enter local uni after finish this course la. i will be back next year april around there la. Few reasons why i want to go to this path, everything is free ma! plus got allowance also. also, i believe it will be a good training la, more maturity in the sense that will know how to deal wit new environment because everyone around you will be bumiputras, and i dont think its something bad afterall like most ppl will think. Also, can enter local uni so cheap ma!ppl study medic outcountries 1 million plus but local uni is just like 20k? many ppl who went into this path said its easy to get 4.0 and some even said its easier then spm. well i guess i will just do my best.

Got local Matriculation programme.. 9 months thing to proceed to local University.

Goin anot? i dunno. still speechless.

Imagine all my aims suddenly disappear for good, my japanese, my youth, my utar...sigh dunno la. wat do i get there? It is a free course plus monthly allowance. And financial doesn't seem to be a problem to what i'm going to study in the future because it's local Uni. But i still cant make up my mind.

Alrite i think im posting up something exactly same with MengLeong's post six month ago? i still remember clearly one sentence in his blog.. sayin somethin like trying his very best to suit himself into Utar. well but look at him now, im actually impressed by how he speak mandarin to me.. anyways!

So far plan is going well wit wat im expecting. lol! Got to talk wit Nic, the vice chairman of SRC ( student rep council) and yea, that's the person i wanna be. in few years time. haha. I thought about starting Aiesec in Utar i told before, but looks like things are rather different here. because Aiesec is mainly focus on leadership traning etc, i dont see a reason to start it. Utar has their DSA to have those councelling courses edi. and it's like they super emphasize on the counsellin part, well kinda scary.

Cant wait for Elections of societies and clubs to start.. i dunno if im eligible to, well will strive for evey single. Talents night comin, well will be quite fast, i need a girl singer! and i think i need to write a new song since its a new environment.

There IS something I've Been thinking About.

well this is rather sad perhaps? Unless u get JPA or wtv scholarship go overseas study, i think it's back to the initial point again. Everyone in the same starting point AGAIN. so i shall say, SPM is NO big deal. As long u have money, u get into the same course as the top students get too. And i shall say being active in high school just remains as a self satisfaction for me, no benefit in scholarship or wtv. Everythin is the same again, everyone is at the same level again... and of course, as usual again, everyone will be studyin like wat juz to get them out to be extraordinary in class. will see that soon.

Somehow i'm still thinking DJ rocks. the culture there. I mean i see the difference la, how DJ ppl and other school people socialize. well indirectly im sayin myself. its not something really proud, but the culture of voicing out personal thoughts =) I know this is rather impossible or wtv, but there is always few purpose i wanna go Utar, one of it is to impact anyone who passes by me there. and

Well, this is juz an update.Very short one. Cause i dun even know wat to write actually. well lotz to think about still. Life is complicating there. MengLeong understands it yea? =) Yong Zhi was the other block far away, guess its the same as ML. Dillion is suppose to be the same stream as me in foundation in science but didnt turn up for no idea la.

WAT i THINK about there?

ALrite, well i actually expected already la wat type of ppl i will be seeing... Ppl who juz speaks chinese and introverts... UTAR is cheap, i mean the fees la, that's why quite a number ppl from sub urban villages la. If u are sayin taylors or help, those ppl u know already la, filled wit DJ culture. But here, it's like most of them introverts la... It's like i wanna speak out and self intro that time, they juz said.. "oh hi hi" then turn back and thinkin like "who is this idiot?" pathetic la. And sometimes i dunno if i should use chinese or english to speak.

But it definitely needs time to suit myself into it la. It's a bad feeling for me now, im feeling proud which im not suppose to. lol. Thanks to DJ, the socializing culture! well! Many things poop out of my mind. My missions.

I will be performing for the upcomin talents night.. yea songs and singin again. i need to find a girl who can sings well =) so ML u can intro to me some.
Will be learning Japanese. Beginner level. 30 hours wit RM190. worth right?
wanna get active in DSA and SRC. welll or not one of it... trying to reach the seniors to get the attention.
I dont think wanna focus so much on sports this year. the most only marathon. But things might change, see how talented the ppl there are first.
Sadly, i cant find any lengluis yet =.=" (i can hear Yong Zhi shouting agree too!) haha

But certainly, im really convince that UTAR is makin all efforts out to publicise the importance of soft skills towards the working life. I feel its going to be alrite la. Smilez* im hoping that my view about the personalities ppl over there is wrong. ahahha! alrite tml will be telematch and all. time to rock it!

I need Time!!! more time!!! not that i didnt make use of my time or wat... but its like i have tried my best to use up every single second. Life is so short. I have lotz of thoughts running over my mind everytime. yesh, but i dun have the time to put them to reality every single one.

I've always tried to balance my personality and talents over a lot of areas. Well i hope i can master all areas, but its impossble. Time factor. you gotta invest ur time in the area constantly to keep up to date. But one thing u know, the more areas u master, the more contacts u get, and the more mature u get, because its like u can talk to almost everyone on the street by any topic. That AWESOME.
.
But yea its impossible. I wish i have more time. So far i set my focus only on few areas. Of course, Music.. then my religion, cooking, sports, finance world. And can tell you that these few areas are already that hard. I don't wanna be those people who just know the surface of these areas, but really get a grip till the root. If you realize.. who on this earth doesn't know at least one of these range? So meaning if i really get to master all the knowledge in these fields, its already sufficient to talk to ANYONE.

Well, another reason why i need more time. WHen we talk about friendship, i would really say this.. the most la. u can get 4 or 5 ppl to be ur best fren. It keeps me wonder...
Can we just treat everyone as best frenz?
yea definitely not, it needs investment in time too. U dont expect to call someone best fren by talking to them on msn only right?

ANd seeing someone just got so down everytime and say their life is borin... that's actually the worst thing that can pissed me off honestly. I'm out of my work!!! my last day~ well not that emotional as i thought.To tell you honestly, ths Job is totally not my cup of tea. Dislikes it cause its a job that needs to sit down and just do the same thing over and over again by doing all the accounts thing...

Now i know what type of job im totally into. Well.. as long it involves social skill and creativity, its definitely my choice. Bakery would be too =) if i didnt sign this contract at first, i would have gone to cake sense and work. And i don't work for the money, but what i can learn from that job. And to say something sad, from this job... i LEARN That. i pity those accountant people, i cant believe how they can actually sit there for hours and do their stufs without even talking much. sigh* so my next sem break... shall find a promoter job!! and it's the highest pay for a part timer u can get k...

Alrite UTAR Orientation starting Next week.

I got several plans... well it varies. it changes though. I havent entered so i don't know. I thought of doing japanese. I was wrong. Im going for german language now. Im not going for interest but learning German + my civil engineering can lead me to study masters in German. And it's true, many people did it cause Germany is awesome for it's civil. And must be fluent in German language by the middle of my 2nd year degree. 3rd or 4th year plan to go internship, and of course in Germany. Then try to grab scholarship and go there finish up my masters.

NExt plan, heard from Meng Leong like the UTAR activities for foundation isn't that active... well sports i sure join la. But im considerin of joining the AIESEC in UMalaya. Since its like so near. I dun really know what's goin on in UTAR anyways. wait la...

BUt anyhow im determined that...

I'm Going To Rock UTAR x)

And talking about relaxing.. im about to end my job in 2 days time... and Uni starts on tuesday... Orientation!! cant wait to kap new frenz there =) but before everything... one more thing cross my mind.. if u heard there is an IT international fair in KLCC this sunday till wed? i thought of goin there to work.. got contact edi.. 80 bucks a day.. well 5 days 400 bucks! syok! but Uni starts on tuesday.. so not sure yet la...

Another sad news for me... i really considered of joining InterCulture school Japanese class... this coming Friday.. but i was like so totally disappointed of my stupidness... then i read... "pls register urself one week before the commencing date." fired! SO guess gotta wait till next sem la... hahaha.

Well this is something for you to enjoy... how big exactly is KL and Klang Valley? the answer is. Very small! i thought of posting up more pics but juz cant upload. Google Earth is FUN seriously! if u go and see Shanghai's city.. its 3 times larger than kl. I mean the diameter. But overall. I feel City planing in Beijing is the best overall.. can see not that crowded la.. Well maybe this is what i should do everyday? and yea civil engineers can be city planners x)

Oh my goodness la~ God why is it like this!!! hahaha.. u know for the past few nights, everytime when i online chat msn.. sure at least 3 girls will tel me... eitehr emo... or juz moodless... well i dunno why is it happening so.. maybe girls these days are over stress? Well i just give them the two sentences that i always practise these days, "life is short, why you emo? wasting energy only la. Go self motivate urself, life is so fun outside there, no time for you to self pity at all" I dunno why im feeling the way i am now, it's like i think im developing myself to be a motivator.. well leaders do so.. and im not saying im having leadership quality or wat but im in the process of learning it.

My thoughts :

But anyways. there is something i wanna point out... Life is simple i would say, but it's the different personalities among us that make it seems to confusing... There are too many types to mention... im not a psychologist to point it out but definitely i know such group the 'thinkers'.. yea u got it right.. some people who thinks a lot... as in just so detailed with the common question mark.. 'why?'.. Being thinker is good in some ways, u get to think how precious life is sometimes.. well i do. But i think i'm a semi thinker. I wont say im fully a thinker cause it's scary. Because my perception of some thinkers is that they think too much sometimes... but they don't do it. It's just like dreamers who don't practise their speech la. Thinkers can be rather creative in their thoughts and share a lot during their group discussion. But from what i notice... they don't really socialize a lot. Some thinkers they think too much and don't apply it into leadership skills, separating them from the world of social. well it's all balance i would say.

SO if u are lazy to read the above long, boring paragraph, let me summarize it for you over here. Being thinker is not bad, yea definitely but remember to not overwhelmed it over yourself too much because you tend to live into ur own world and forget to live it out with the people beside you =)

how many of us really do notice what's goin on around us? Are we being too indulge into our own world? If you ask me whether i would want my life to be perfect, i would NEVER say yes.Having a perfect life wouldn't teach a person how meaningful a life could be. Everyday is a history and also a lesson to add into ur account! One of the purposes of my life is to go around and tell people to live their life out loud, And i want to be an impact in their lives, motivate them always. Life is short people! Life is not a bed of roses for you there to lengah around, Life is a battlefield! constantly improve yourself for a better living!

I cant hold a sight anymore to see anyone who is so fragile in their lives, as in just everyday partying around and go emo suddenly =.=" i know it may sound normal. But do WE realize how blessed we are? Look at the two lines ONCE more! There are people dying around every single second, there are people around the world yearning for food and help! and what we are doing here? just being in the comfortable world?

If you read the past newspaper, the past cyclone that hit Myanmar last week i think.. Imagine Myanmar, its already a super poor country! and hit by a cyclone? can we have some sympathy for them? What are we doing here? just say nvm la we are safe? Come one! they are part of this world too! i just wanna conclude this... many of us... we are just being too self centered these few generations... sometimes we do dream big~ yea! real big. sayin that what we gonna do soon then wat about this and tat... but have we ever thought of doing something for somone else? someone else we don't know i mean.. juz a person who needs love, money and care.. what do u think? Just draw that question into ur heart...

Yesh i think the past Conference.. i learn more abotu Aiesec then HIV... ahhaha x) well its something good right? well shall publicise some stuf about Aiesec here... u know sometimes i put Aiesec as a place to choose my course u know.. im like thinking... UTAR doesnt have aiesec... sigh..* maybe should just go Uniten? but Uniten troublesome... lol so i guess i will juz slowly TRY to start one in UTAR la? but there are ten good reasons for u to know =)

.yea so good right the reason? juz in case u are wondering what is Aiesec all about... Aiesec International. ANd yea it's international... who doesnt know Aiesec? well u perhaps. But i put Aiesec as something more 'pro' then leo or wtv la.

And yea some conference i plan to join........

NAtional Ambassador's camp!!! well one thing about Aiesec conference is that they are cheap, because the committee knows how to find sponsors i think? Miracle Conference which is in UPM is this comin 26th i think. but its my first week UNi =.=... and well august has this National Leader conference i think... just let me summarize the whole thing in 4 words.

Woohoo for ONE NIGHT ONLY. So dont miss this chance to catch them live cause as most of you know its really difficult to catch them in Malaysia. Them coming down here is like a catching a solar eclipse.

ALrite finally! recorded my first written song "Frenz4Life"i stil remembe i wrote this for EnChia's retirement. Promise to perform one day before it.. so i woke up a 5am and wrote this simple song and straight to the stage!! so this is the first song. still got two songs to record.. and few more to record to finish my first album x)

You MUST really expect my singing sucks. yea i admit. especially my high pitch. everyone said i shouldnt try. hahaha. i recorded this once only btw. I mean no edits. just straight from my guitar and my mouth. I thought of recording the guitar first then i sing. But got echo and its fake. Well lets go and set the heart all over the world =)

Well at first im so lazy to write a testi about wat i learnt from this conference, but i feel guilty for not writing it out. ahhaha cause i have lotz to say? well here i go. First of all, I think Aiesec committee has done a superb job.Before this conference, everyone was aiming for like 200+ ppl? but turned out to be 40 ppl there. Well some complaint about the accomodation and food, but well i think everythin happened accordingly. That wasn't a retreat, but a conference, the environment was made so that we could experience the way the other misfortuned ppl felt.

and well i actually went to this conference because i wanna support my sis and also same time, learning what i expect to learn, which is Hiv and sex and all... but well, turned out that i actually gained something really different. I did learn ALOT from the conference, well more than everyone could imagine. but one thing i realized is that, this Conference, which has the theme of HIV, can really bond ppl up and share the stories of their lives. It's like we could really flash back and find ourselves really blessed. Well visitation of drug users , transexuals, sexworkers and HIv ppl have really got me to a thought. They didnt want it to happen anyways. let's say Transexuals, it's not what they choose to but who they are. the behaviour was already in their genes. They are normal people too! they have their lives! and they are friendly =) i would say.

Well another thing about this conference, I see the part of Aiesec's role clearly now.. ahaha. We got some interns from overseas came to share their HIV breaking news back in their own countries and well, u get to know more the ppl there from them too =) But Aiesec, i see a very important impression that they gave me.. No matter where and what they do, Aiesec always emphasize on self personal potential development. Which i think it's really great la. Im really Hoping to start Aiesec in UTAR. I know its easy to say but real hard to be done. But if there's a chance.. why not?

I would wanna say again that this conference is really filled with impact. As i flash back and find out why again.. i think its the planning of the schedule that made it so chunted! To those ppl who went the conference, if u notice... the first two days were talks and all... yea that was the exposure part... then third day more to workshop thingy... self development... then the final day is the donation day... well i think that's the application part. The last day is the most important day because application part is definitely something will make people remember more deeply and practise it. That was the session i learnt the most. It's like the combinaiton of Aiesec and Conference theme. Donation for HIV and marketting skill? pujukin skill la...

well once again..! KUdos to all organizing committee! splendid job!! and yea to all the conference ppl!! hope to see you at KL tower this sunday for the buffet dinner! winson i know u goin edi.. bring ur camera again la..ahaha! More conference es to be attended. i shal bring some utar ppl go this time.
